TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CONTESTS – “VIDEOCON SHARE YOUR STORY CONTEST” ( India )
The following terms and conditions shall apply to the Videocon Contests titled as “Videocon Share your story Contest”.
DEFINITION
“Gift/Prize” means the gifts as mentioned in “Videocon Zeus phone”.
“Participant” means any Indian Citizen above the age of 18 years, who chooses to participate in the Contests by entering details as mentioned in the website mentioned below with your story.
“Contest Period” means the period between 26th October, 2010 to 25th November, 2010 (both dates are inclusive)
“Contests” means the Contests which is called as “Videocon Share your story Contest”.
“Videocon” means Videocon Mobile Services, its group companies, associate companies, subsidiaries and affiliates.

ELIGIBILITY
The Contests is open to all Participant’s except employees and family members of Videocon, its advertising and promotional agencies, and its Auditors.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SCHEME FOR REST OF INDIA
Scheme
The Contest is valid in Rest of India, except the state of Tamil Nadu.
Participation is optional and products offered shall also be available without the Promotion Scheme.
Contest shall be conducted under the supervision of Auditors.
The Participants shall enter the content by logging onto website mentioned above and upon successfully mentioning all the details including the story which is mandatory.
The winner will be informed within 15 days from the closure of the Contest.
This contest is not combined with any other offer of Videocon, present or future.
GRAND PRIZE
The winner of the Grand Prize (both from Rest of India and Tamil Nadu) shall be intimated by Videocon about winning of the Grand Prize and the winner shall receive “an Android phone with unlimited talk plan” from Videocon.
TERM
The Contest is valid during the term of 30 days Period from 26th October 2010.
OTHERS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Videocon reserves the right to cancel, modify, extend or withdraw the Contest at its sole and absolute discretion.
Winners/Participantss shall bear incidental costs, if any, that may arise for receipt of the Prize and/or Grand Prize. All taxes/levies and charges on products will be the responsibility of the Participants.
Decision of Videocon shall be final and binding with regard to Contest and Prize/Grand Prize and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
Gifts offered are not transferable. No Cash payment in lieu of the Gifts would be made.
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation any infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest. Videocon reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual/Participants who tampers with the Contest, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.
Videocon shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Acts of God, Governmental actions, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss.
Videocon assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of the entries.
Videocon is not responsible for problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers computer equipment, software, failure of any email to be received by Videocon on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Participants’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in relation to this Contest.
The Participants agrees that Videocon shall be at liberty to use the photographs, voice, motion pictures of the winner for media coverage, advertisement or publicity in any form which is existing today or will be known anytime in the future without any further consideration to the winner/Participants.
Videocon shall not be responsible for any delay on the part of the Winner/Participants.
